{"id":7483,"date":"2016-06-08T17:42:16","date_gmt":"2016-06-08T22:42:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phrdev.pixelpro.website\/novedades\/changes-in-the-tax-id\/"},"modified":"2020-10-26T08:20:14","modified_gmt":"2020-10-26T13:20:14","slug":"changes-in-the-tax-id","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phrlegal.com\/en\/novelties-en\/changes-in-the-tax-id\/","title":{"rendered":"CHANGES IN THE TAX-ID"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>CHANGES IN THE TAX-ID<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>New amendment to the Tax-ID (RUT) for those taxpayers required to keep accounting books<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The RUT must be amended to include \u201c<em>Tax Responsibility No. 42- Required to keep accounting books<\/em>\u201d, and for identifying the accounting group to which the taxpayer belongs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Colombian Tax Authority &#8211; DIAN- required all individuals and legal entities that are obliged to maintain accounting books, to amend their RUT for purposes of including the new \u201c<em>Tax Responsibility No. 42 &#8211; Required to have accounting books\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Additionally, in section No. 89 of the RUT, the taxpayer must identify the accounting group to which it belongs, in accordance with Decree 2420 of 2015.
