{"id":7517,"date":"2016-07-28T03:33:54","date_gmt":"2016-07-28T08:33:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phrdev.pixelpro.website\/novedades\/dian-resolution-3\/"},"modified":"2020-10-26T08:12:57","modified_gmt":"2020-10-26T13:12:57","slug":"dian-resolution-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phrlegal.com\/en\/novelties-en\/dian-resolution-3\/","title":{"rendered":"DIAN RESOLUTION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DIAN RESOLUTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>New companies will be able to obtain the tax identification number before the Chambers of Commerce<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>After a newly formed company is listed in the commercial registry, it must request the issuance of a Tax Identification Number (NIT) before the Chamber of Commerce<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In its Resolution No. 52 of June 14<sup>th<\/sup>, 2016, the Colombian Tax Authority \u2013DIAN\u2014 determined the procedures for the registration and amending of the tax identification registry (RUT) before the Chambers of Commerce. Before the issuance of Resolution No. 52, this procedure had to be carried out directly before DIAN, resulting in time consuming procedures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to complete the registration process in the RUT, the applicant must complete and file the form that is found in DIAN\u2019s web page, and submit a copy of the identification document of the legal representative.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The request or amendment of the RUT can be carried out directly by the legal representative of the new company, or by an appointed attorney.
