In implementing this new platform there will be modifications in other aspect such as fees, consultation and filing. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> <\/strong><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Colombian Trademark and Patent Office implemented a new technology platform that will serve both for trademark and patent applications and procedures. The new management system is a modern industrial property module that serves for consultation and filing. As for trademarks, the new application includes new search options, which include the ability to perform an official search using an image.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This new system reinforces the Colombian Trademark and Patent Office\u2019s purpose of reducing the filing of briefs physically by using modern software which incidentally helps reduce the costs of each of the procedures.
