{"id":8607,"date":"2016-11-29T21:45:28","date_gmt":"2016-11-30T02:45:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phrdev.pixelpro.website\/novedades-categoria\/mexico-14\/"},"modified":"2020-10-28T07:38:51","modified_gmt":"2020-10-28T12:38:51","slug":"mexico-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phrlegal.com\/en\/legal-bulletin\/mexico-14\/","title":{"rendered":"MEXICO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>MEXICO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>COOPERATION BETWEEN THE INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY MEXICAN INSTITUTE (IMPI)  AND THE AUSTRIAN PATENT OFFICE (AOP)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Three cooperation mechanisms for industrial property were subscribed on October 25<sup>th<\/sup>, 2016 between IMPI and APO;  (I) a memorandum for the adoption of the PPH pilot program, (ii) the recognition of the APO as an International Search Authority (ISA) and as International Preliminary Examination Authority (IPEA) for IMPI and (iii) a memorandum of commitment of industrial property cooperation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The adoption of PPH since December 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2016 was a meeting neuralgic topic taking into account that it is about the mechanism which allows to protect the inventions in a faster way.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The recognition of APO as a Search Authority provides to Mexican applicants the opportunity to choose it.  The other authorities recognized by Mexican authorities as ISA are:  United States Patent office, Korea, Spain, Sweden, Singapore, Chile and EPO.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the same way, the industrial property cooperation memorandum of commitment makes particular reference to the exchange of officials and information.
