{"id":8857,"date":"2018-02-15T22:50:16","date_gmt":"2018-02-16T03:50:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phrdev.pixelpro.website\/novedades-categoria\/brazil-27\/"},"modified":"2020-10-26T16:53:51","modified_gmt":"2020-10-26T21:53:51","slug":"brazil-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phrlegal.com\/en\/legal-bulletin\/brazil-27\/","title":{"rendered":"BRAZIL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BRAZIL <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SERVICE GUIDELINE FOR THE DRUG NAMES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published the guideline No. 43 stablishing further criteria for the analysis of drug names and their changes after registration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This guide states that the analysis of drug names comprises: Search at an internal system of phonetic and orthographic computer analysis, search at an internal medicine database, search at the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO) database in order to check trademark applications\/ registrations, evaluation of graphic and phonetical resemblance, evaluation of potential mistakes and evaluation of the names&#8217; safety, in order to avoid risks on prescription, dispensing and administration or use of a medicine.
