Ana Isabel Mejía has been an associate at Posse Herrera Ruiz since 2019. Her practice focuses on tax litigation and controversy matters, with an emphasis on representing clients in administrative and judicial disputes involving national and local taxes.

She has experience advising and representing companies across a range of industries, including telecommunications, financial services, and retail, as well as other sectors with significant tax and regulatory exposure. Her practice includes providing comprehensive support in tax audit proceedings, official tax assessments, penalty proceedings, refund claims, collection matters, and litigation before tax authorities and the administrative courts.

Before joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, she worked at a local law firm in the area of private law.

She holds a law degree from Universidad EAFIT and a specialization in Tax Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia.
