María Paula Romero is a lawyer and specialist in Labor Law, with over 13 years of experience in individual, collective, transactional, and immigration labor law.

Her practice focuses on advising national and international companies on corporate transactions with labor implications, due diligence processes, employer substitutions, collective dismissals, voluntary retirement plans, and pension liability management. She also advises on hiring and talent mobility schemes across multiple jurisdictions, executive compensation, and cross-border remote work arrangements, with experience in operations involving teams in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Latin America.

 She has led collective bargaining negotiations with trade unions in the manufacturing, chemical, construction, and energy sectors, and has represented clients before administrative authorities in matters related to pension obligations, labor outsourcing, and immigration. Her industry experience spans technology, media & communications, BPO, banking & financial institutions, manufacturing, infrastructure, and non-profit organizations such as foundations.
