Natalia Alarcón is a director of Legal Innovation and Knowledge Management at Posse Herrera Ruiz, Natalia leads the firm’s digital transformation and oversees its AI governance and legal tech initiatives. She, together with the IT department, drives the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to improve service delivery, streamline operations, and optimize knowledge management, while ensuring the firm’s compliance with evolving AI regulations.
Prior to joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, Natalia worked as an associate at a Colombian boutique law firm advising clients on antitrust law, unfair competition litigation, software registration, data protection, and consumer protection in e-commerce and served as a public official at the Deputy Superintendence for Consumer Protection within the Colombian Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
Natalia is co-founder and co-director of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana’s Research Seminar on Artificial Intelligence and the Law, and a Research Group Member at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (academic professionals global network based in Washington D.C.)
She is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, with a specialization in Economics from the same university and a master’s degree in Technology Law and Policy from Georgetown University Law Center.
