Sebastián Zapata Rincón is an attorney at Posse Herrera Ruiz since 2025. His professional practice focuses on the area of tax practice.

Sebastián has 8 years of experience in matters related to tax consulting. He has participated in the preparation and management of claims for annulment of the concepts of the tax administration in Colombia on the tax treatment of concessions and PPPs, restrictive interpretation of Article 90 of the Tax Statute, the treatment as occasional gain of what was received as waiver of community property, among other revocable doctrine of the administration.

Before joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, Sebastián worked a national law firm, in consulting for important Colombian and multinational companies and in the area of litigation and discussion of national and territorial taxes in governmental proceedings.
