Posse Herrera Ruiz advised AngloGold Ashanti on the definitive agreement for the sale of 100% of “La Colosa Project” to Mineros S.A. The transaction contemplates a purchase price of USD 10 million and a contingent consideration of up to USD 60 million, subject to the achievement of certain milestones. The transaction is structured through the acquisition of 100% of the shares of AngloGold Ashanti Colombia S.A.S. Closing is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
