Lina María Domínguez Sarasti has been a senior associate at Posse Herrera Ruiz since 2026. Her professional practice focuses on corporate criminal law and compliance.
Lina has more than 10 years of experience as a criminal litigator, with a particular focus on the judicial representation of victims and defendants in the accusatory criminal justice system, as well as alleged offenders in disciplinary and fiscal liability proceedings. She also has extensive experience advising companies on the implementation of programs for the prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing, financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, corruption, and transnational bribery, in accordance with the requirements of various national authorities and international standards.
Her experience includes the analysis of criminal investigations and proceedings, the coordination and execution of investigative work as defense counsel or victims’ counsel, the definition of complaint or defense strategies, and the judicial representation of victims and defendants in the accusatory criminal justice system, including appearance at and participation in different hearings. She also has experience coordinating teams of investigators and forensic experts for the development of investigations and the technical support of procedural strategies in criminal litigation.
Before joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, Lina worked at Brigard Urrutia as a senior associate in the corporate criminal law, compliance, and investigations practice. Previously, she worked at Pinilla, González & Prieto, Lombana & Lombana, and Raisbeck & Castro, recognized firms in the Colombian legal market. She also served as defense counsel for members of the Public Force at FONDETEC of the Ministry of Defense, representing them before different authorities in proceedings related to acts connected with their service.
