DEVELOPMENT OF THE PATENT SUPPORT PROGRAM AMONGST IMPI-FUMEC-NAFIN
The Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), together with the US-Mexico Foundation for Science (FUMEC) and National Finance (NAFIN) have developed the IMPI-FUMEC-NAFIN Patent Support Program with the objective of assisting inventors and people in general, who have a potential technological development that can be protected
Amongst the assistance received, the beneficiaries will be provided with free and specialized advice and counsel which includes, for example, help in drafting the application free of charge for all entrepreneurs, inventors, researchers, among others. The program’s main purpose is to increase patent applications in Mexico and to provide the tools so that patent holders of such protection can benefit from the exclusive exploitation of their inventions in the market.
