AGREEMENT TO SIMPLIFY THE CERTIFICATION OF GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES OF CHEMICAL SYNTHESIS MEDICINES BETWEEN ARGENTINA AND COLOMBIA
The agreement executed by the Colombian National Institute of Medicine and Food (Invima) and the National Administration of Medicines, Food and Medical Technology of Argentina (Anmat) aims for the issuance of chemical synthesis drug certificates -without a visit- to laboratories located in one of the two countries
The new arrangement has the purpose of simplifying and facilitating the exchange of Good Manufacturing Practices (BPM, in Spanish) and is seen as a positive result of building years of trust within the two countries, in a joint work with their local industries. In the next 30 days, the teams of the Argentinean and Colombian authorities will be working on defining the strategy and procedure that would allow the agreement to be implemented.
The laboratories interested in obtaining more information regarding the application of the agreement can contact the Invima International Affairs Office.
