Santiago has been an associate at Posse Herrera Ruiz since 2017. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate transactions, as well as corporate governance and business legal strategy. He also has experience in the venture capital ecosystem.

Santiago has advised on transactional matters across a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, food and beverages, financial services, retail, logistics, energy and gas, among others. He has been actively involved in securities market transactions, particularly in acquisitions and dispositions carried out through public tender offers.

In addition to his work at Posse Herrera Ruiz, Santiago has served as an international associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP (New York), and as an associate at a boutique competition law firm in Colombia.
