Santiago has been an associate at Posse Herrera Ruiz since 2017. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate transactions, as well as on corporate governance and business legal strategy. He also has experience in the venture capital ecosystem.

He has advised on transactional matters across a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, food and beverages, financial services, retail, logistics, energy and gas, and financial services, among others. He has actively participated in securities market transactions, particularly in acquisitions and dispositions through public tender offers.

In addition to his work at Posse Herrera Ruiz, Santiago has been an international associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP (New York), and an associate at a boutique competition law firm in Colombia.
