Alejandro Casas is an associate of Posse Herrera Ruiz. His professional practice focuses on the settlement of disputes within the framework of judicial and/or arbitral proceedings regarding contractual liability, unfair competition and antitrust.
Prior to joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, he worked for local firms where he advised companies in the telecommunications, agricultural, automotive and retail sectors, among others, regarding contractual disputes, foreign trade and the Colombian competition regime. He worked at the Legal Affairs Division of the World Trade Organization assisting various panels in dispute settlement procedures.
He was a professor of WTO Law at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, has a J.D. from the same University and holds an LLM in International Economic Law and Policy (IELPO) from the University of Barcelona.
