Camilo Ballesteros is an associate at Posse Herrera Ruiz. His professional practice focuses on Banking & Finance and Capital Markets, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Camilo’s practice is focused on advising investors (sellers and buyers) in acquisition transactions, mergers, spin-offs, asset disposals, auctions, joint ventures, and other complex corporate transactions of companies whose securities are listed on national and international stock exchanges. He also actively participates in transactions involving complex financing structures such as project finance, acquisition finance, structured finance, and corporate finance.
Camilo also has experience in M&A transactions, including regulated and unregulated entities as well as securities issuers. Prior to joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, Camilo worked in the Bogotá offices of international law firms and a major financial institution. He graduated as an attorney from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, in Bogotá, and obtained a Masters in Law (LL.M.) from Duke University School of Law, in North Carolina.
