Christian Díaz Ordóñez is an associate at Posse Herrera Ruiz. His practice focuses on Corporate Law, with an emphasis on Mergers and Acquisitions.
Prior to joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, she was in-house counsel at an energy company, dealing with various corporate issues of the organization. He also worked in a leading firm in Colombia, in complex international transactions involving several Latin American countries, mainly in the financial, energy and pharmaceutical sectors. Christian worked in the New York offices of White & Case, where he participated in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. Christian complements his practice by teaching at some universities in Colombia.
He is a lawyer and specialist in Commercial Law from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali and Bogotá. He holds graduate diplomas in Financial Law from Universidad de Los Andes and in Commercial Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and an LL.M. from New York University School of Law. Christian is a member of the New York State Bar and is a Colombian lawyer.
