Felipe Pardo is a director at Posse Herrera Ruiz. He co-leads the tax compliance area and leads the fiscal accounting area of the firm. Additionally, he is a member of the Technical Academic, Accounting, and Economic Commission of the Colombian Institute of Tax Law (ICDT acronyms in Spanish).
He is a Certified Public Accountant – CPA from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Specialist in Taxation from the Universidad de los Andes, and has been internationally certified in IFRS since 2013 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales – ICAEW.
Before joining PHR, he worked as a consultant in national and international accounting firms. His professional practice has focused on the implementation, training, and consulting on IFRS accounting issues, as well as advising and structuring tax matters related to company acquisitions and sales, reorganizations, and all types of corporate transactions. He has provided advice to over 150 companies across various sectors, including large and medium-sized organizations; he has extensive experience in training on specific projects and non-formal education.
He has been invited as a speaker and panelist on tax and accounting topics by IFA (e.g. Tax analysis of collaboration agreements), ICDT (panelist at the 2022 Tax Conferences), and Legis (at various events).
