Héctor has over 15 years of experience in urban planning, real estate, and environmental matters. His work centers on advising clients regarding planning and management instruments (such as partial plans, regularization and management plans, implementation plans, rural planning units, among others) and urban development permits.
He has also advised companies and landowners on real estate development projects, real estate asset management, condominium property regimes, and administrative proceedings related to urban planning matters.
Héctor has participated in the structuring of urban development projects, providing counsel on the procurement and review of planning instruments and permits, as well as on the drafting and structuring of contracts for the construction and development of commercial, industrial, hospitality, logistics, and residential projects.
Before joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, he served as an attorney at Ecopetrol S.A., focusing on urban planning matters, and as a senior lawyer at Camacol. He is also a professor in the specialization and master’s programs in Urban Planning Law at Universidad del Rosario.
He holds a Law degree from Universidad Santo Tomás and postgraduate specializations in Urban Law and Environmental Law from Universidad del Rosario.
