Juan Guillermo has experience in matters related to the structuring of real estate projects and transactions. His practice focuses on drafting and supporting the negotiation of purchases and sales of real property and commercial lease agreements, as well as on supporting transactions and legal due diligence, which includes the review of titles, contracts, and permits; the consolidation of findings; and the preparation of documents and closing checklists.

He advises developers, operators, and companies in the renewable energy, retail (shopping centers), and logistics/warehousing sectors. He has supported large‑scale due diligences, and significant purchase and sale transactions and lease agreements, participating in targeted negotiations and in the comprehensive coordination of closings.

Before joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, Juan Guillermo worked as a law clerk at a boutique firm and was part of the Corporate Law Research Group at Universidad de los Andes.
