Juanita Nieto is an associate at Posse Herrera Ruiz since 2026. Her professional practice focuses on corporate law.

Juanita has over 8 years of experience advising companies in the aviation and entertainment industries. Her career focuses on the negotiation, structuring and execution of complex agreements, as well as the preparation of corporate documentation and comprehensive support to management bodies.

She has participated in local and international business transactions, including providing legal support in a reorganization proceeding under foreign law (Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code), as well as in the negotiation of strategic alliances and the implementation of compliance frameworks regarding privacy and data protection.

Before joining Posse Herrera Ruiz, Juanita worked at Cine Colombia, where she participated in the negotiation and construction of a broad range of contracts and handled corporate matters. Previously, she worked at an airline, where she advised on international and local aeronautical, commercial, and regulatory matters, as well as on strategic corporate deals.

She is admitted to practice law in Colombia and in the State of New York.
