CHANGES IN THE PRESUMPTIVE INCOME TAX BASE FOR INDIVIDUALS

The presumptive income tax would be gradually reduced and its base would only be compared with the taxable income of the general schedule
According to the proposal of the Government, the presumptive income tax would gradually be reduced. For year 2019 the rate would be 3%, for year 2020 would be 1.5% and as from 2022 it would be 0%. Additionally, the basis for calculating the presumptive income would be compared only with the income resulting from the general schedule, without including the income corresponding to dividends and participations.
