​​On September 13th, 2024, Fundación WWB Colombia entered into an agreement  for the sale of 51% of the shares of Banco W S.A. to Inversora Fundación Grupo Social S.A.S., Fundación Emprender Región and Fundación para el Desarrollo Integral Local. 

​This transaction presents a strategic opportunity to enhance the shared mission of Fundación Grupo Social and Fundación WWB Colombia by furthering their commitment to the common good and fostering positive social impact through financial inclusion. 

​Closing is subject to the fulfillment of customary conditions, including obtaining the required governmental authorizations.​
