JCDecaux SE, the world’s number one in outdoor advertising, retained Posse Herrera Ruiz in Colombia to assist with Colombian legal aspects of its announced acquisition of a 70% stake in IMC, a leading outdoor advertising company in Central America and the number one outdoor advertising company in Costa Rica.
As part of the transaction, the remaining shareholders of IMC contributed their 30% stake in IMC in exchange for a 9% share in the new company that consolidates JCDecaux’s activities in Central America across six countries (Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua).
This new joint venture will be owned by JCDecaux SE (51%), Publigrafik, Top Partners, and former shareholders of IMC.
