​​​Posse Herrera Ruiz acted as legal counsel to Aligned Data Centers International, LP on the upsize of certain credit agreement originally obtained for the financing of the acquisition of Odata a leading data center provider with presence in Colombia, Brazil, México, and Chile, as well as additional data centers currently under development across Latin America. 

​Odata is among the fastest growing hyperscale data center platforms in Latin America, and the transaction positions Aligned among the largest private data center operators in the region, with a footprint spanning in excess of 2.5 GW of critical capacity across over 40 data centers at full buildout. 

​The financing was originally obtained through a secured credit agreement governed by the laws of New York. The credit agreement comprised a term loan and a delayed draw loan facility for up to USD $1,225,000,000. The upsize of the delayed draw loan facility by USD $1,025,500,000 has brought the new total amount of the commitments to USD $2,250,500,000.​​
